Multilingual site

We have a city guide in several languages. All the fixed fields (ie. address, phone, etc.) are already translated but it is not viable to translate all the content inserted every day (concerts, events). We tried Google translator but obviously you lose all the Google rankings as Google just reads it a a single language page.

We are looking for an automatic machine translation, which when we enter content, then translates it and uploads it to the correct language page. It would be nice to be able to edit the more obvious translation errors later.

Hi,

I think your approach is viable. In fact, what you are looking for is under development and may be available on next Anwiki version.
As discussed in this topic, we are adding support for "translation services" such as Google translator.
These services will be used for :
- suggesting translations while translating contents
- automatically translate new or edited contents in the other languages, which can then be corrected "manually"
